Q: Where is the cheapest place to buy good books? And is the price at the student store the cheapest?
The Answer
Comegetused.com is my first stop for buying AND selling textbooks! It's a textbook exchange network between Berkeley students where you can buy your books for a lot less than in the bookstore and sell it back for a more reasonable price too. (Just make sure to meet the seller in a public area such as on campus.) Amazon.com would be a good second choice if you don't need the book right away-sometimes shipping takes a while depending on who you buy from. Check the customer reviews to see if the seller is reliable beforehand! Then, there's always the bookstore, which is really pricey but good if you need the book right away or can't find it anywhere else. Just sell it back on Comegetused.com when you're done with the class. Hope that helps!
