Q: How can I find a campus job? I need money to pay for college.

The Answer

The best place to go if you have work-study in your financial aid package is http://workstudy.berkeley.edu/. There are all sorts of job listings on there and they generally pay pretty well, from $8/hr to $20/hr, depending on what kind of job.

If you do not have work-study, it is a little bit harder because you have to look around for job postings. For example, outside of the human resource office of the main library (Doe) there is a bulletin board posting which has all the job postings on there. Cal Dining usually looks for student workers by posting up flyers around its dining facilities (GBC, Crossroads...etc.). The on-campus computing facilities located at 1st floor Moffit Library, 212 Wheeler...etc. have job postings in the facilities as well. You get the point. The opportunities are out there, you just have to keep your eyes open for them :). Good luck!
