Q: What are some differences between the northside and southside of Berkeley?
The Answer
Northside is quieter, has a little bit better housing, and if you have a lot of engineering classes, is a little closer to your classes. The bad part is it's a little lonely up there especially when all your friends are southside. It also doesn't have that much food to eat, and is far from Crossroads.
Southside is the happening place. It's got the best food and that's prolly where most of your friends will be. There's nothing like finishing classes for a day and walking through Sproul Plaza to go back home while the sun is setting. Not like walking a steep hill to go back north :)
