Q: Where are the best places to study undisturbed?

Wow, you're already looking into this and school hasn't even started! Well you're in luck. Berkeley has twenty eight libraries on campus. The most serious place to study is Mainstacks, a multi-level library which is open 24 hours during finals. If you like a more humble place, you can go to Moffit library. If you want a quiet place and study with strangers, try the Boalt Law School library. If you want a peaceful and secluded library with nice views, you can go the new East Asian Library or Music Library. The dorms also have study areas called academic service centers (there's tutoring there!). Some people also like to study at cafes all around campus. Break a leg!
